Happy War Poem

We walloped the bastards, we walloped them good!
We walloped them more than we thought that we could.
We tore out their entrails, their livers and lights
That settled the bastards for any more fights.

They’re lying there spread out all bloody and spent
If their souls are worth saving, dunno where they went.
They’re nothing, just cold meat, old, wasted and gone
There’s nothing about them deserves to live on.

Our enemy’s dead and we have peace at last
We’re done with the ructions we had in the past
We’re free and we’re happy, the future is bright
The moral is clear: If in doubt – bloody fight!
