- my dear friend Petra Barrow, from Fife. I love her poetry, it's gentle and calm.
- my erstwhile editing buddy and constant writing nemesis, now making a name for herself as an author with a series of books (see her site). She has allowed me to use her fictional town of Allcombe for some of my own stories. Lovely person.
